Definition -
Rainfall that falls during a particular season of the year is called Seasonal rain or Monsoon.
Monsoon mostly occur in Indian subcontinent. Not only India but also west part of the Africa, Sahara desert, North and south part of America, South Asia, South Korea , some part of Japan, Indonesia, Philippines , Vietnam, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh , Pakistan, North side of Australia, Some area of Britain, West Germany, France, etc.
History -
Around 50 million year ago, The Indian Subcontinent and Asia has been linked to upper side of Tibetan highlands. First Monsoon was strongly believed by many Geologists, according to the study of dusty dust records in two high plains of china or in the Arabian Sea , around 8 million years ago.
Process of monsoon ( south Asia ) -
South Asia continent monsoon is interesting to known. when during hot summer in south Asia the land become hot and landmass increasing, Arabian sea and Bay of Bengal sea temperature become low. Sea level pressure raise. This cause the flow of moisture (most air) winds from sea to land and this whole process is called as seasonal rain of Monsoon in South Asia .
In India Monsoon first Kerala coastal side, normally in a 1st of Jun., then day by day monsoon wind moving towards a north side, and finally it hit to the west part of Rajastan state in August. In the month of September reverse process of monsoon is start. In month of December it is totally gone from India and other south Country.
