1) Bael

Scientific name - Aegle marmelos

Found in - It is a species of tree native to the Indian  subcontinent and Southeast Asia. Found in India, Sri lanka, Thailand, Malaysia.

Description - The out-side of tree is feebly colored brown or gray-like, smooth or in a highly detailed form opened into a long, narrow form and coming off in very thin, flat bits, armed with long straight backbones, 1.22.5 Cm in groups of 2, often with wet,  smooth and slipping sap coming through slowly out from cut parts. It is a (dropping leaves every autumn) shrub or small to medium-sized tree, up to 13 m tall with thin drooping branches and rather old and dirty crown.Young leaves are pale green or pink , finely hairy while mature leaves are dark green color and completely smooth. Every leaf has 4–12 pairs of side veins which are joined at the margin. The bael fruit diameter is  between 5 and 12 cm.
It is circular or slightly pear-shaped with a thick, hard rind and does not split upon ripening.

Medical uses - Fresh half ripe fruit of bael is used to cure dysentery, diarrhoea, hepatitis, tuberculosis, dyspepsia and good for heart and brain. Root have properties like antidiarrhoetic, antidote to snake venom, anti-inflammatory and wound healing. Tannins present in the leaves is help to recover pain and discomfort with peptic uclear, by reducing inflammation.


2)  Tulsi

Scientific name - Ocimum tenuiflorum

Found in - Tulsi is native to India, but it is found all over the southeast Asia. It is cultivated by many countries and available in market worldwide.

Description - Tulsi is an longer shrub that grows up to 18 inches.  It's leaves are light green to dark in color. The tulsi plant blooms erect purple or reddish flowers and produces small rust-colored fruit.  It has a strong, strong-smelling (nice) smell and taste that is just like other varieties of basil. Lot of  varieties of holy basil grow everywhere in  the Himalayan foothills to areas of the Middle East. Purple-leaf tulsi, also called as Krishna or Shyama tulsi, has a sharp peppery taste .
Rama tulsi, also called as  green leaf tulsi, has a mild taste with a strong (nice) smell. Wild tulsi, also called as Vana tulsi, grows wild around the Himalayan Mountains and in the plains of India.
 

Medical uses - Tulsi contain essential oils that work as a adaptogen, which overcome body stress. Tulsi contain antibactirial and antifungal which work as increasing urine level. It is also increase our immunity. It also contain Vitamins A and C, Calcium, Zinc, Iron, Chlorophyll.


3)  Pudina ( Mint )

Scientific name - Mentha

Found in - It is widely distributed and found in any environment. Mostly found in wet environment. Europe, Asia, North America, some part of Australia countries pudina species are found.  

Description - Pudina( mint ) belong to the genus Mentha . There are 20 species found in mints family which is widely use for flavoring . Mint plants are mainly nice-smelling plants and they possess erect, branching stems and wider then tall to  lanceolate leaves arranged in opposing pairs on the stems. The leaves are  covered in tiny hairs.  Mint plants produce a terminal flower  and the flowers can be white or purple in color depends on variety. Mint plants are fast growing and can become very harmful. They can grow heights up to 60–90 cm and will continue to grow for many years once established.

4) Cinnamon ( Dalchini )

Scientific name - Cinnamomum verum

Found in - Cinnamon is native to cylone(sri lanka) , the neighboring Malabar Coast of India, and Myanmar (Burma) . It is also cultivated in South America and the West Indies.

Description - Cinnamon is a spice got from the inner bark of many tree species from the genus Cinnamomum.  Cinnamon is used mainly as a nice-smelling (something you put on top of food, like pepper, mustard, etc.) and flavouring (something added to food, or something else) in a wide variety of foods, sweet and delicious dishes, breakfast cereals, snack foods, tea and traditional foods. The aroma and flavour of cinnamon come from its essential oil and principal part. Cinnamon is the name for lot of  species of trees and the commercial spice products that some of them produce. It is a members of the genus Cinnamomum in the family Lauraceae. For spice few cinnamon species grow  commercially . Cinnamomum verum is sometimes believed to be "true cinnamon", but most cinnamon in international commerce is derived from the related species Cinnamomum cassia, also referred to as "cassia". In 2016. Indonesia and China produced 75% of the world's supply of cinnamon.

Medical uses - Cinnamon comes from a tree. People use the bark to make medicine. This bark is used to cure gastrointestinal (GI) upset, diarrhea, and gas. It is also used for to overcome  for infections caused by bacteria and parasitic worms, and for menstrual cramps, the common cold, and the flu (influenza).


5)Neem

Scientific name - Azadirachta indica

Found in - It is grow in Indian subcontinent region, which is typically grow in tropic or sub tropic region. It is also in wet part of Iran.

Description - Neem is a quickly developing tree that can arrive at a tallness of 15–20 meters , and once in a while 35–40 meters . It is evergreen, however in extreme dry season it might shed most or about the entirety of its leaves. The branches are wide and spreading. The genuinely thick crown is roundish and may arrive at a distance across of 20–25 meters . The neem tree is fundamentally the same as in appearance to its family member, the China berry (Melia azedarach). The inverse, pinnate leaves are 20–40 centimeters in length, with 20 to 30 medium to dull green pamphlets around 3–8 centimeters in length. The terminal pamphlet frequently is missing. The petioles are short. The (white and fragrant) flower are orchestrated in pretty much hanging axillary panicles which are up to 25 centimeters in length. Medical uses - It  leaf is used for leprosy, eye disorders, bloody nose, intestinal worms, stomach upset, loss of appetite, skin ulcers, diseases of the heart and blood vessels (cardiovascular disease), fever, diabetes, gum disease (gingivitis), and liver problems. The leaf is also used for birth control and to cause abortions.


6)Lavender

Scientific name - Lavandula

Found in - It is usually found in hill slops region in India. Like Himachal pradresh, Kashmir valley, Utter pradesh state.

Description - Lavender is the name given to a few types of herbaceous, perpetual bushes in the class 'Lavandula' which are developed as fancy plants or for fundamental oil. Lavender plants are little, fanning and spreading bushes with dark green leaves and long blossoming shoots. The leaves can be straightforward or pinnate estimating 30–50 mm long. The plant produces blossoms on shoots or spikes which can be 20–40 cm  long. The blossoms are lilac or blue in shading. Lavender can develop to 0.4m  in tallness and live for 20–30 years. Lavender may likewise be alluded to as evident lavender, clinical lavender, smelling lavender, meager leaved lavender or English lavender and is accepted to begin from the Mediterranean, Middle East and India.

7)Marigold

Scientific name - Tagetes

Found in - It is widely cultivated throughout the India but, mostly grow in the valley of Ranthambore National Park, Rajasthan. 

Description - Marigold is one of the most significant blossoming annuals developed in India. It has picked up prominence because of its simple culture and wide flexibility, wide alluring hues, shape, size and great keeping quality. The developed marigold species are for the most part two. Those are African Marigold and French Marigold. Tagetes species change in size from 0.1 to 2.2 m tall. Most species have pinnate green leaves. Sprouts normally happen in brilliant, orange, yellow, and white hues, frequently with maroon features. Flower heads are regularly to 4–6 cm distance across, for the most part with both beam florets and plate florets. In cultivation, they will in general be planted as annuals, in spite of the fact that the perpetual species are picking up notoriety. They have sinewy roots. 8) Henna or Mehndi

Scientific name - Lawsonia inermis

Found in - It is found in Southwest Asia, North Africa, India. usually grow in tropical soils.

Description - Henna is a tall bush or little tree, standing 1.8 to 7.6 m tall (6 to 25 ft). It is glabrous and multi-extended, with spine-tipped branchlets. The leaves develop inverse each other on the stem. They are glabrous, sub-sessile, curved, and lanceolate (long and more extensive in the center; normal measurements are 1.5–5.0 cm x 0.5–2 cm or 0.6–2 in x 0.2–0.8 in), sharpen (tightening to a long point), and have discouraged veins on the dorsal surface. Henna blossoms have four sepals and a 2 mm (0.079 in) calyx tube, with 3 mm (0.12 in) spread projections. Its petals are praise, with white or red stamens found two by two on the edge of the calyx tube. The ovary is four-celled, 5 mm (0.20 in) long, and erect. Henna organic products are little, earthy containers, 4–8 mm (0.16–0.31 in) in breadth, with 32–49 seeds for each natural product, and open sporadically into four parts

Medical uses -  Fresh leaves of Henna may be used as a topical antiseptic for fungal or bacterial skin infections, including ringworm. Henna helps to improve hair health.
